About him
I’m an outgoing and sociable soul who likes to meet people and generally have a jolly old time.
I like the great outdoors and being outside and, paradoxically, being next to a wood burner with a good book and glass of vino. A man of contradictions? Rather a chap with varied tastes.
I love cooking, from Indian to traditional British through to Serbian, and travelling. I also have an avid interest in medieval history.
My idea of fun is anything that raises a smile. I like the village pub, I like the coffee shop, I like anywhere where people enjoy themselves. My Sundays are generally spent walking in the hills, presently on my own, around my humble abode followed by a nice meal (that I’ve cooked… although a pub Sunday lunch is always a possibility) and glass (or two) of vino.
I’m a great believer in living life the way you want to. Whether that’s living each day like it’s your last or living each day like It could be your last. We’re all here for too short a time to be fearful of shadows and taking mild risks.

I’m hoping to meet, and connect with, someone kind, warm, outgoing, with a sense of fun and a dollop of adventure.
Ideally someone with a passion for fresh air and the outdoors, good food, smiling and laughing, and sharing experiences. Of course, these things aren’t set in stone and I’m open minded and always curious.
The world can be a grim place in 2026 so I would rather avoid politics and significant causes and concentrate on happiness and the enjoyment of companionship.
If anyone shared an interest, large or small, in any of my passions then I’d be delighted. I’m always interested in learning about new experiences and take an interest in others and how they spend their time through hobbies, interests, and passions.
A deal breaker for me would be an attraction between two people and a mutual respect. I’m through with uneven relationships.
