About him
I am 82 years have been widowed for 8 years. I was in a very loving, happy and long marriage (we were childhood sweethearts). I live alone in Epsom, Surrey and have two lovely daughters and their families. My youngest daughter and her family live in the north of England and my eldest daughter and her family live in the south of England. I visit them on a regular basis, travelling by rail and they also come and spend time with me.
I have a great empathy for helping people less fortunate than I am and for the elderly who are alone. I use all my IT skills in helping my friends and family (known as their computer guru) and use my web building skills in maintaining our church website.
I am also one of the lead persons of our social committee, planning social events and screening movies through the year.
I love travelling and have visited most parts of the world in professional and private capacity.
My tastes in music are light classical, pop, rock and country music and attending tribute bands evenings at our local playhouse in Epsom.
i would love to take up ballroom and and Latin American dancing again.
I have taken up playing the piano again.
I am not a fussy eater and like trying out foods from different parts of the world but do keep it healthy, which is hard sometimes as I have a sweet tooth!
I am a Catholic and my birth sign is Taurus. I am slim and 5’7” and a nonsmoker and drink socially only.
I consider myself as an extrovert and enjoy meeting with my friends where we meet on a regular basis and host dinners between our selves. We also holiday together.
